Whether you come for business or pleasure, the Radisson Blu is the place to stay near Minneapolis International Airport. This nearly-new hotel is attached to the Mall of America boasting over 500 stores, dozens of restaurants, and a full-scale amusement park. Catch a hotel shuttle, light rail, or taxi to Radisson Blu and you will be there in less than fifteen minutes. If you are driving, there is ample parking very close by in the mall’s covered parking lots.

Lots of room choices

Choose from one of their 500 rooms or suites for a comfortable and convenient stay. With 181 king rooms, 290 double queen rooms, and 29 suites, one room option will surely fit your needs. After checking in, you will find that your room is above average in comfort and cleanliness. The list of room amenities is impressive; each room comes with a Cuisinart coffee maker, in-room safe, refrigerator, full-size ironing board, flat screen TV, and 350 sq. ft. (32.5 sq. m.) of living space. The bathroom is spacious and the shower features two delivery options. One is the fixed rain-type shower head and the other is a hand held wand.

For suites, add the following amenities: Nespresso coffee machine, nightly turndown service, bathrobe, waterfall shower, slippers, and 445 sq. ft. (41.34 sq. m.) of living space. Premium rooms, such as the one bedroom suites and the Carlson Suite, offer a whopping 6635 sq. ft. (616 sq. m.) and 1,100 sq. ft. (102.19 sq. m.), respectively. If you choose the business class rooms, add a complimentary evening reception on the 13th floor and free breakfast. Breakfast is in the business class lounge on weekdays or in the restaurant on Saturdays and Sundays.

Work out and enjoy dinner

A state-of-the-art fitness center and indoor saltwater pool are onsite for those who want a bit of exercise. There is also the Solimar Spa offering hair, nail, massage, and make-up services. The Solimar Spa offers a full line of premium products.

If you need meeting space for business or special events, the Radisson Blu has an ample 26,300 sq. ft. (2,443 sq. m.) of event space. With 14 separate meeting rooms, including two spacious ballrooms, you are sure to find the space you need, and with their 100% guarantee, you will be satisfied.

The FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar is way above average for a hotel owned restaurant. The design is a mix of rural lodge and urban chic. The menu, staff, and views will please a wide variety of guests. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner are served throughout the week. Dinner is a highlight of this special restaurant. The well-trained staff is competent and friendly while making sure you get the best dining experience. Try their smoked dry rub wings or stuffed quail legs for a delicious starter. For entrees, the Alaskan salmon with butternut squash is a winner, or the Wild Acres rotisserie duck. Both are easily paired with a perfect wine from the wines-by-the-glass list or by the bottle.

Good for any occasion

Staying at the Radisson Blu is truly unique. With so much to offer within the hotel or right next door, just settle in and enjoy. Whether you are planning a perfect layover, a family vacation, or a business meeting, this hotel ticks all the boxes.
