If you're around Surajkund in February, you're in for a real treat. I used to go there back in my college days when we had this photo and video project. It's this massive fair where you can wander through crafts and food from every Indian state and even international stalls. Tickets won't break the bank - usually between 100 to 200 INR depending on when you go. Hop off at Sarai Station on the Violet Line and grab a shared auto for like 20 or 30 INR. Trust me, take a water bottle, your sunglasses, a hat, and comfy shoes because you'll be on your feet a lot. It's a day well spent, and the vibe is just amazing.
23. Manesar
Another great road trip destination, Manesar, is located an hour away from Delhi with a distance of 56.5 km (35.10 mi). It is a growing industrial town in the Gurugram district that boasts numerous tourist attractions. One example is the Damdama Lake which is a popular picnic site for families and friends. Also, surrounding the lake are many religious sites like the Mata Sheetla Devi Temple. Other nearby points of interest include Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary, Manesar Golf Course, and Flyboy Air Safari.
