The aptly named Seaside hugs the Oregon coastline just south of the Washington border and makes for a great place to get away to if you are looking for a quiet, resort town on the beach. There’s plenty to see and do in and around Seaside, including checking out the Seaside Aquarium, playing a round of golf at the Seaside Golf Course or doing a little shopping at any of the numerous shops located around town. One of the state’s most famous landmarks, Haystack Rock, is located just down the road in neighboring Cannon Beach and certainly worth a drive to see in person.
