The delightful Pruksa Resort is located in the Thai province of Prachinburi. Prachinburi is in the eastern part of central Thailand and is a great place for enjoying both nature and culture.
Set in beautiful gardens with an abundance of colourful flowers and fruit trees, Pruksa Resort offers a cosy and welcoming stay. Members of staff are ready to greet you with one of the big open smiles for which Thailand is so famous and they really go out of their way to answer any questions and make sure that you have a great stay.
Here are some reasons to choose Pruksa Resort if you visit the interesting province of Prachinburi:
Budget rooms for people who like to save money
There are several small and basic concrete rooms, great if your budget is tight and if you want to cut your accommodation expenditure. Costing 500 THB (approximately 14 USD) per night, you can enjoy a cheap and cheerful stay in a fan cooled room. The rooms are en suite, but there is no hot water. Parking is available right outside the rooms.
Cute bungalows for people who want a few more creature comforts
For a little more per night, you can enjoy a stay in your own quaint wooden bungalow, complete with air conditioning and a hot water shower. The mattresses are comfortable and the pillows are fluffy. Other facilities in the room include a refrigerator, a hot water flask with a complimentary selection of hot drinks, a TV, and a small coffee table with two chairs. With outdoor furniture on the terrace, you’ll also have a nice area to sit during evenings, as you relax with a cool refreshing drink and listen to the sounds of nature. There is parking space next to each bungalow. A night in a bungalow is still very reasonably priced at 750 THB (approximately 21 USD).
Resort facilities and amenities for added comfort
Free Wi-Fi is available, with a surprisingly strong signal even in the more distant bungalows.
A selection of drinks, such as beer, drinking water, soft drinks, and energy drinks, are available to buy from the main reception area. Ice buckets shall be provided upon request and there are glasses in the room.
Whilst the property does not have a restaurant itself, it works in partnership with two local restaurants that offer a meal delivery service up until 10pm at night. Simply browse the menus and call to place your order and your food will be delivered right to your door. Plastic cutlery is provided along with a selection of sauces and other condiments. It is quite romantic sitting outside as you dine. You can choose from a wide selection of typical Thai fare, such as fried rice, omelet, and many dishes served over boiled rice.
Lush gardens and a pretty natural setting
Chickens roam freely around the grounds, clucking and clacking as they go. Light sleepers may find the morning calls of the roosters quite annoying though!
Pomelo trees are abundant, laden with round succulent fruit, and there are many other trees offering plenty of shade. The gardens are home to an array of birds and insects. There are brightly coloured inedible berries hanging in clusters and vibrant flowers that attract many different coloured butterflies. The sweet smell of frangipanis lingers in the air, and a walk through the delightful gardens is very pleasant.
Provincial attractions to explore
Prachinburi has a long history that stretches back many hundreds of years. As a result there are several historical remains, like Sa Mahosot Ancient Town, to explore as well as many temples from different periods of time. A gateway to the southern part of the popular Khao Yai National Park, there are also plenty of stunning natural attractions within easy reach of Pruksa Resort. Take advantage of the friendly service and scenic surroundings with a stay at the charming Pruksa Resort.
