The town of Hakuba is located in the Nagano prefecture in the Japanese Alps. Despite its relatively small population of just under 10,000 people, the area is very popular with tourists from abroad as well as locals for its amazing slopes and spaces for winter sports. For Nagano Winter Olympics, many facilities were built here for the games which remain as part of the reason why people come to Hakuba in the first place. Snowboarding, skiing (alpine, cross country, and jump) are popular activities. If you’re looking to visit some of the best slopes in Japan, check out the top skiing and snowboarding resorts in Hakuba.
We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and access to ski slopes and equipment.
