Contemporary, luxurious, and elegant are adjectives that you want to use when describing to your friends and family the hotel you have booked for your next trip. The heart of downtown Bangalore (Bengaluru), India, is where you’ll find the Springs Hotel & Spa. Not only will you be using these words to describe the hotel’s environment, but you will also find that it is modern, clean, and very hygienic. Read on to continue exploring your home away from home, and to find out just how budget friendly this 4-star hotel is.
Relax in the lobby, or discover the many sites close by

There is an elevator located in the facility, making it accessible to those in a wheelchair, and the bellboys will gladly help you with your luggage after checking in. You’ll want to be aware that check in starts at 12 noon, and the Springs Hotel & Spa has a rather unique check out time, being at 12 midnight. This is wonderful news considering how close the hotel is to so many must-visit locations, and it’s almost as if you have earned an extra day to venture out and explore the busy city of Bangalore. With location being the key factor here, the Springs Hotel & Spa is positioned in close proximity to the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Tippu Sultan’s Fort, Cubbon Park, and Wonderla Amusement Park. There is plenty for you or your family and friends to explore, and many of these locations are within a walkable distance. There are also many shopping malls nearby, such as MG Mall and Garuda Mall, and the hotel is located 38 kilometers (23.67 miles) away from Kempegowda International Airport. However, you may even find yourself spending time in the reception area, as it is very spacious with many seating arrangements, where you can read the morning paper and enjoy a hot cup of chai (tea) or coffee.
Spacious and comfortable rooms

When you arrive to your room, you will be pleased with the amount of space offered, including a wardrobe for your personal belongings. A safe is located within the wardrobe, enabling you to store away any valuables or important documents you may be travelling with. There is also a mini refrigerator that is already chilled and ready to be filled with any goodies you may have brought along with you. There is also a tea and coffee maker available in the room, and bottles of mineral water are provided for you daily at no extra charge. You’ll notice there is a separate seating area in the room, perfect for sitting down to enjoy a meal, as well as a large desk that you can use for business purposes (complimentary Wi-Fi is provided). A flat-screen TV is available, and includes a wide variety of entertainment selections in both Hindi and English. There is even an international HUB for channels such as BBC or CNN. The bed is firm, but comfortable and your blankets and sheets will be cleaned daily upon request. The bathroom is spotlessly clean, and you are offered a multitude of personal items, including body lotion, shampoo, soaps, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and even a comb. Although there is not a bathtub provided, you can enjoy a steamy shower, which has hot water 24 hours daily, and if you need additional time to relax, just make a visit to the steam hot tub at the hotel’s spa.
Perhaps you would like to enjoy a massage after dinner

The room service menu provided is from MG’s Fine Dining, located on the ground floor of the hotel, and offers Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes. I highly recommend the Nawabi Tarkari Biryani (an herbal and aromatic vegetarian rice dish filled with green peas, carrots, and broccoli) with a few slices of freshly baked naan (oven baked flat bread). The entire meal was satisfying, and cost only 352 INR (5.29 USD). If you do not wish to order in, the Beetle Juice Bar, open from 11am until 11pm, is located on the rooftop, and offers a refreshing selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, including wine, cocktails, mocktails, along with snacks. There is also the Café Caraffa, located on the ground floor, serving up amazing snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, such as cappuccinos, lattes, chai, and other herbal teas. Please take note that the café is only open during the weekdays. You’ll want to wake up early, as there is also a complimentary breakfast buffet included with the price of your room.
The Springs Spa is located on site, and you will be able to leave your worries behind when entering through the door. Indulge by treating yourself to a relaxing oil massage, facial, or opt to soak in the steam room or hot tub. There is also a salon here, and you will be pleased with the rejuvenating experiences offered. However, make sure to pop in before dinner time, as opening hours are from 10am until 7pm. If you are travelling with friends or family, you may also opt to hang out by the covered outdoor pool.
