San Francisco, California is a beautiful city on San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The city is compact and rises above the bay on a group of steep hills. It is known as a metropolis that has bounced back and rebuilt after earthquakes and fire. Natural beauty, culture, art, music, food, fashion, technology and unique lifestyles make San Francisco one of the most visited cities in the world.
The Andrews Hotel is an ideal location to call home when visiting the city by the bay. Steps away cable car bells ring. Two blocks away, Union Square bustles and rushes. Six theatres are close-by. Restaurants and shopping abound. The Andrews Hotel on Post Street is close to San Francisco’s most popular attractions, but not the crowds of visitors. Andrews Hotel is a survivor of the devastating 1906 earthquake. The disaster leveled or burned most of the city. The Andrews Hotel was spared major damage and continues in operation today.

Fino Ristorante and Bar
Next to The Andrews Hotel’s lobby is Fino Ristorante and Bar, one of San Francisco’s best-kept secrets. Serving fine Italian cuisine, the food is authentic, locally sourced and heaven sent. The superb service adds a perfect finish to a wonderful meal.
Moderately priced, this eatery and bar is frequented by neighborhood locals and hotel guests. Fino caters to many tastes and does them all perfectly. If you want a small plate or full dinner you won’t be disappointed by Fino. I enjoyed the evenings pasta special, cannellini and a tomato and basil salad. A glass of pinot noir was a delightful match for the meal.
