The hotel's dinner

There are few places to eat out around Ise-Shima Royal Hotel, so most guests have dinner inside.

You can have dinner at: 1. the hotel’s restaurant; 2. the dinner buffet; 3. at “Burari-yokocho”.

Those who prefer to eat at the hotel’s restaurant should make a reservation together with their room booking. Sometimes the restaurant can be full so a prior reservation is recommended. At the dinner buffet you can eat even without a reservation as long as there are free seats.

The same applies to “Burari-yokocho” where you can have dinner freely without any reservations. It’s a small restaurant arcade with fresh seafood shops, okonomiyaki, ramen, udon and soba noodles and others. On the photo you can see the delicious seafood at “Gyosaiya Matoya” restaurant.

Matoyawan Bay is known for growing oysters which produce the popular Mikimoto pearls. It’s one of Mie’s most famous sightseeing spots. The popular Matoya oyster is usually eaten between October and March. You should definitely try it if you go there during that season. The red bridge you can see on the photo is called “Matoyawan Ohashi”, but is also called “Pearl Road’s Red Bridge”. The blue sky and sea and the green hills complement the picturesque landscape. On the opposite side of the bridge is Shima’s Spain Village – so close to the hotel!
