The Haven Bali: A Heavenly Hotel In A Great Location In Seminyak

This is a relatively new 4-star hotel, which opened its doors in 2009. It is located in the most happening spot in Seminyak and is very close to Double Six Street where there are cool bars and shops selling traditional souvenirs. Despite being in the heart of the district, you will be surprised to find that this hotel is like an oasis.

Not only does it have zero noise from the street in most areas of the hotel (rooms are located away from the road), but the grounds of the hotel feature tall trees and lush greenery, which is different from most beach hotels, where greenery is rare to find. You will feel like you’re in Ubud, the greener part of Bali!

Spacious luxury rooms

This hotel has 191 luxurious rooms, located in the hotel’s twin 4-storey buildings. All rooms come with all the facilities a 4-star hotel has to offer including cold AC, a deposit box and coffee maker.

If you travel with more than 1 adult, no need to book an additional room, as this hotel provides 2-bedroom suites and 2-bedroom pool villas with a private pool. Not only does the pool villa have 2 individual bedrooms, but it also has a large terrace for each of the rooms, and a big living room, dining room and a kitchen with electric stove and a big fridge (cook as you want to!). Instead of feeling like you’re at a boxed-up hotel room, you’ll feel as comfortable as you do when you’re at home!

The marble bathroom is spacious and exquisite. It has a big deep bathtub and it is stocked with luxurious toiletries, including bathing salt and pomades, and if you stay in a pool villa, you will be able to view the private pool through the glass door of bathroom.

Comfortable pools to enjoy

The hotel has 2 swimming pools (a children’s pool is attached to one of the pools) located on the ground floor between 2 buildings. Rooms on the ground floors have direct access to these pools.

Besides being close to both sides of the buildings, the pools are shaded with tall trees, so it is always comfortable to swim, even on a hot sunny day. There are several loungers by each pool for you to relax and chill out, and on most weekends they put out some balls and set up a basketball hoop or volleyball net in the main pool area for guests to play a game.

Breakfast buffet with numerous options at Sabeen restaurant

Rates include a breakfast buffet at the hotel’s restaurant, Sabeen, located by the pool area. It is open for buffet breakfast from 7 am to 10 am, and it has a large selection of Asian and Western foods, from fried noodles to sausages. There are several stations to order an omelette, waffle or pancake. They have a good variety of fresh-from-the-oven pastries, as well as drinks, which include lattes and cappuccinos.

The fruit station has many kinds of tropical fruits, including fruits that are native to Southeast Asia, like rambutans (it tastes like lychees, but a bit sweeter) and snake fruit, which is called that due to the rough texture on the skin, which resembles scales!

There are plenty of options for your lunch and dinner outside the hotel, but eating at this restaurant is also a good option. Lunch and dinner is served in the hotel’s restaurant, which offers both Indonesian and Western food, and has live music playing every night.

Strategic location

The hotel is located strategically close to three beaches: Seminyak, Legian and Double Six beaches are within a 15 to 20-minute walk. There are also many convenience stores within walking distance. There is Circle K Mini Mart across the road and Bintang Supermarket about a 5-minute walk away. Go to Repeat Offender Café for good aromatic coffee, which is only about a 2 or 3-minute walk from the rear exit of the hotel. Visit Warung Made (it’s popular in Seminyak, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel) for the savory and crunchy pork dish named suckling pig.
