Yumigahama Beach is included in the list of Japan’s best 100 beaches because of its beautiful arc-shaped coastline. The view is really superb! “Netsu no Yu”, the local hot spring, is known for its temperature-preserving effect on the body and positive influence on the skin.

Here you can’t feel chilly after a bath, hence why the hot spring was named “Netsu no Yu” (hot temperature water). There is a sauna next to the pool where you can sweat and stimulate your blood circulation afterwards by entering a water pool.
You can see Yumigahama Beach from this bath too. For female visitors there is also a beauty salon (additional fees apply).

Conclusion
The hotel’s name “Kochu no Ten” comes from the Chinese folklore and means “a different world, fairyland”. After you see the brilliant view from this place, you’ll understand why! Warm up your body in the temperature-preserving hot spring. Female guests can receive a cute yukata as a present. In this hotel you’ll also see a rare sight – donated notes with words written by the head priests of Kyoto’s three famous temples, the Golden Pavillion, Kiyomizu and Ikkyuji.
