I totally suggest trying all the different types of local sweets, dates, and order mango-strawberry-dragon fruit juice. It is really delicious!

Apart from the main restaurant, guests at Ritz Carlton, Riyadh can choose from Lebanese, Italian and Chinese cuisine, or order room service. The hotel offers numerous options for dining to please every palate.

Al Orjouan restaurant offers a buffet of Lebanese delicacies combined with international cuisine, and serves food all day. Al Orjouan also offers a Friday brunch. Friday in Saudi Arabia is prayer day, so all public places, except mosques are closed until 4 pm. That is the reason you will see many locals that day of the week at Ritz Carlton, Riyadh.

Location and hotel policies

Ritz Carlton, Riyadh is located next to King Abdulaziz Convention Centre and is right in front of the Diplomatic Quarter. It is a 40 minute drive from King Khalid International Airport. As public transportation is almost non-existent in the capital of Saudi Arabia, you will need to use a taxi to explore the city. The 24-hour reception staff can easily call a taxi for you and they also offer car rentals and free private parking. Check-in is 3 pm and check out is 12 pm. If cancellations take place at least 24 hours prior to arrival, no cancellation fee is charged.

It is important to know that the Ritz Carlton, Riyadh respects the Saudi culture and tradition, so women should be dressed in the traditional local garment (the abaya) and gentlemen should be dressed in a smart casual outfit. Shorts, sleeveless tops and sports shirts are not permitted. Pets are also not allowed.
