When tired, you can rest at the shaded pavilions or you can try the Smith and Wollensky steakhouse located here. There is a barbecue area as well and the park also hosts events and festivals at the amphitheater.

Established in 1940, St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church was initiated by the first Bishop of Miami, Bishop Coleman F. Carroll. It was originally a mission chapel.
