Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort’s “Sweet Room” Where Girls’ Dreams Come True!

The bitter chocolate living room

Take the free shuttle bus from JR Maihama Station for about 7 minutes and you will see the cute pink building of Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort. The executive suite room of this hotel is designed by Tadaaki Wakamatsu of Q-pot. and therefore the suite room turned into a sweet room!



Q-pot. is a brand of accessories designed as sweets. Tadaaki Wakamatsu created this unique pop-art colorful collaboration in which accessories resemble chocolate and whip cream. The idea behind the concept is to connect people and create positive feelings between them. 



The living room is a luxurious space covered in chocolate. The tea table in the middle is especially impressive with its melting chocolate effect on the edges. There is a “Q-pot. Café Drink Bar” in the rear end, so you can enjoy drinks such as tea or hot chocolate. Of course, you can take them home with you. Enjoy your time in this elegant room.

The whip cream and strawberries bedroom

The next room is the bedroom. The entire bed looks like a piece of cake, while the sheets have whip-cream decorations. The cushions are designed as strawberries! The only thing missing is you as a topping over this unique cake!

There are also a biscuit table made of wood near the window and a white chocolate sofa. The chocolate-design mirror actually transforms into a TV when you turn it on! This is quite surprising and will satisfy the female guests of this room.

Afternoon tea set with a special design

In one of the accommodation options offered you can have a special afternoon tea set. In the days before March 14 (White Day in Japan) there are selected sweets served as part of the set, such as chocolate-covered scones and decorative ants made of chocolate.

The other part of the set consists of the famous “smile burger” which tops Rakuten Travel’s food ranking for a second year in a row. It’s really juicy and will instantly make you smile.

Guests of this room can enjoy the special premium breakfast which consists of an exquisite buffet-style selection. Here you can try the award-winning “soft-baked castella cake with triple berries” or the sea bream rice cooked in an iron pot. 

Those who don’t like to wake up early or go straight to Tokyo Disney Resort in the morning can switch the breakfast with a dinner option. The highlight of the dinner buffet is the pork roast cutting service performed by the chef. Other delicacies include pasta, Chinese food, rice in tea and various cakes.
