Do you know that there is a very cute “sweet room” in Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort? The bedroom is designed as a collaboration of whip cream and strawberries, while the living room’s elegant tea table looks like made of bitter chocolate! Guests staying in this room will be given special presents. This is a great place to create wonderful memories of your trip to Japan!
The bitter chocolate living room

Take the free shuttle bus from JR Maihama Station for about 7 minutes and you will see the cute pink building of Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort. The executive suite room of this hotel is designed by Tadaaki Wakamatsu of Q-pot. and therefore the suite room turned into a sweet room!
Q-pot. is a brand of accessories designed as sweets. Tadaaki Wakamatsu created this unique pop-art colorful collaboration in which accessories resemble chocolate and whip cream. The idea behind the concept is to connect people and create positive feelings between them.
The living room is a luxurious space covered in chocolate. The tea table in the middle is especially impressive with its melting chocolate effect on the edges. There is a “Q-pot. Café Drink Bar” in the rear end, so you can enjoy drinks such as tea or hot chocolate. Of course, you can take them home with you. Enjoy your time in this elegant room.
The whip cream and strawberries bedroom

The next room is the bedroom. The entire bed looks like a piece of cake, while the sheets have whip-cream decorations. The cushions are designed as strawberries! The only thing missing is you as a topping over this unique cake!
There are also a biscuit table made of wood near the window and a white chocolate sofa. The chocolate-design mirror actually transforms into a TV when you turn it on! This is quite surprising and will satisfy the female guests of this room.
Afternoon tea set with a special design

In one of the accommodation options offered you can have a special afternoon tea set. In the days before March 14 (White Day in Japan) there are selected sweets served as part of the set, such as chocolate-covered scones and decorative ants made of chocolate.
The other part of the set consists of the famous “smile burger” which tops Rakuten Travel’s food ranking for a second year in a row. It’s really juicy and will instantly make you smile.
Plenty of special goods offered to the guests of the room!

Guests staying in this unique room will have access to a variety of selected goods that they can take home: 1. Amenity pouch designed as a white chocolate (1 piece) 2. Luxurious chocolate bag charm with the logo of Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort (1 piece) 3. Sri Lanka teabags as part of the Q-pot Café set 4. Two bars of chocolate drinks (milk chocolate plus earl gray and dark chocolate plus coffee) 5. Doorplates (2 pieces) 6. Room key and key case (1 piece each) 7. Postcards
Girls will love these goods that can’t be purchased anywhere else. Especially Q-pot. fans will be quite excited.
The staff will put all of those goods in a shopping bag for your and will give them as a present when you check-out.
The ant on the mirror symbolizes gratitude (“ari” means ant and sounds like “arigato” or “thank you”). There are 10 ants to find in this unique room.
You can choose between a dinner or a breakfast buffet

Guests of this room can enjoy the special premium breakfast which consists of an exquisite buffet-style selection. Here you can try the award-winning “soft-baked castella cake with triple berries” or the sea bream rice cooked in an iron pot. Those who don’t like to wake up early or go straight to Tokyo Disney Resort in the morning can switch the breakfast with a dinner option. The highlight of the dinner buffet is the pork roast cutting service performed by the chef. Other delicacies include pasta, Chinese food, rice in tea and various cakes.
Conclusion
The afternoon tea set changes according to the season. After March 16 2015 it will include a strawberry scone! Other optional services include anniversary cakes, sparkling wine sets and more.
In the casual restaurant “Farandole” on the 3rd floor you can enjoy various themed dinner buffets. For example until March 20 the theme was “Princess’ lost items”. Those who could find the hidden items in some of the dishes were awarded special delicious presents.
The Q-pot.-design room is ideal for everyone who plans to visit Tokyo Disney Resort or Kasai Rinkai Park Aquarium.
