Located on the south shore of Long Island, Massapequa Park is village and hamlet within Oyster Bay. Despite a population of only 17,000, this small town has a lot to offer. With plenty of amenities for people of all ages, it’s no wonder why Brady Park is Massapequa Park’s most active park. With a state-of-the-art playground for the kids, a baseball field and basketball court for young adults. The park also has bocci, shuffleboard and horseshoe pits for those that want a more relaxing activity, making it a perfect spot for a day with the whole family. It even has a community center for large gatherings like a company picnic or family reunion. Choose Brady Park and be taken back to the days when you were at the playground with your friends as a child, only now it’s your child. Plus, it’s a great form of exercise and will get the kids away from technology, at least for a little while. 2. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church

4. Massapequa Preserve


This beautiful stretch of nature will make you forget that you’re on Long Island. If you’re looking for a quiet place to forget your troubles or get away from the hustle and bustle of the city then take a walk on one of Massapequa Preserve’s trails. The green belt trail will take you through the trees, where you can see wildlife, watch birds, get some fresh air and get exercise all at the same time. There is also a paved path that runs alongside a stream and two lakes that you can share with other bicyclists, rollerbladers and joggers. This path, if traveled the entire way, will take you all the way from the Long Island Express Way down to Cedar Beach and to the ocean. It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional biker or runner, or if you’re just looking for a leisurely stroll, this place is going to have everything you’re looking for.
