Five minutes away from this apartment is the hot springs of Aguas Calientes. Each accommodation will give you cable TV, some essentials, hot water, wifi, and free breakfast. The bedroom has a little terrace with a dining table and a couple of chairs. If you don’t want to explore Machu Picchu, you can just stay at the apartment and relax on the terrace. Should you decide to take a hike or take a tour, the staff will be happy to give you tips on where to go or which restaurant to dine at.
7. Comfortable bedroom in the center of the city
This cozy space is near the famous attractions in Machu Picchu as it’s conveniently located in the center of art and culture. The location is perfect but it can be a little noisy sometimes. If you don’t mind a little noise, then this is the best place. It’s comfortable yet affordable at the same time. You’ll be provided with some essentials such as bed sheets, soap, toilet paper, and towels. Heating is available. The staffs are also exceptionally helpful and nice. They provide a breakfast buffet to all guests too.
8. Hotel bedroom overlooking the mountains
Although you’ll get just the basic accommodation in this hotel including a cable TV and wifi, it’s by far one of the best as it’s overlooking the lovely mountains. The train and the bus station are less than five minutes away too. And take note, this is the same bus station that will take you all the way up to Machu Picchu to see the stunning sunrise. Machu Picchu Museum
The small yet interesting museum of Machu Picchu is a must visit as it will tell you information about this town. You’ll be more informed may appreciate it more. To get to the museum, you will have to walk for about 25 minutes and pass by a butterfly sanctuary, campgrounds, botanical gardens and the beautiful river that flows through the mountains.
