This flat is ideally located in Edinburgh, within walking distance of main attractions in the city. There are plenty of cafes and shops right in the area. Public transportation is also easily accessible from here. There are two cats who live in the flat, so be aware of this before booking. The space is comfortable and cozy, in an apartment that is on the second floor of a building with no lift. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with the host, and the building has a nice communal garden.

This building was originally built as a tenement house around 1890. The entry hallway is reminiscent of that time, but the flat has been refurbished and modernized, though still retaining much its old Scottish charm. It is an ideal flat for two travelers, providing all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a table and a television. The bathroom is new with a nice hot shower. A double bed and comfy armchairs in the bathroom make it a perfect place to sleep and relax. There is another TV available in the bedroom as well. Wifi is available throughout the flat and it is quite speedy. There is no elevator in the building and the flat is on the second floor, so know that you will have to use the stairs to reach it.

The kitchen is well supplied with up to date cooking utensils and all the necessities for cooking at home. This double room is located in the heart of the city, easily within walking distance of Calton Hill, Waverley Station/Tram York station, Arthur’s Seat, Royal Mile, and Edinburgh Castle. It is a perfect spot to explore the city. The space itself has two double rooms available (or just one for a single traveler) with tea and coffee, internet connection, a refrigerator and freezer, and clean towels. Umbrellas are provided as well, as Scotland can be quite rainy! The bathroom and kitchen are shared with the host.
