Le Grand-Bornand is a town steeped in French skiing culture. Not only is it home to a fine resort of its own, but many of its inhabitants have gone on to be international skiers of repute, especially with local boy Roddy Darragon snatching silver in the cross-country sprint event in Turin’s 2006 Winter Games. The town is one of those idyllic French mountain resorts which offers a classic lifestyle of apres-ski bars and restaurants serving warm, wholesome food. Book into any of these Airbnb vacation rentals and you will be thrilled by the quality of life on offer.
