Lorient is a port city in Morbihan, Brittany with a great maritime past. Among the related attractions, visitors can take in the Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly, a fascinating maritime museum. Among the exhibits is Tabarly’s own cutter “Ped Duick,” with which he won a series of races in the 1960s and 1970s. The Keroman Submarine Base is another fascinating visit.
