Dubbed as the “Theme Park Capital of the World”, Orlando, Florida is probably best known for its amusement parks and other family-friendly attractions. However, it doesn’t mean that the city has nothing to offer to adults who want to have a good time. Rooftop bars are aplenty in the city, so much so that you may have a hard time choosing which of these might be the best choice for you. We’ve rounded up the top 10 rooftop bars in Orlando, Florida for you to choose from to help you make your choice on where to head to enjoy a drink or two.
1. Hanson's Shoe Repair
Editor's Note: Photo taken from the establishment's official social account
Hanson’s Shoe Repair is located in the oldest building in Orlando, but that’s not the most interesting thing about the bar. The establishment has embraced being a speakeasy, so much so that guests need to give the password, which they can acquire by making a phone call to the bar between 1-7 pm, to the gatekeeper before being allowed in. The bar opens up to a rooftop terrace, where you can catch musical acts. Bartenders take pride in creating specialty drinks here, so don’t expect the usual cocktails served in Hanson’s Shoe Repair. Around 25-30 people can be accommodated here at a time.

2. Aero
Aero is more of an outdoor nightclub than a conventional rooftop bar, which makes this the perfect destination for those who want to go dancing to the tunes spun by a DJ and have a good time partying with a crowd. In fact, most of the floor space is dedicated to dancing, although there are a few sofas scattered around for those who want to take breather. Drinks are served from Thursday through Saturday from 10 pm to 2 am and on Sunday from 5 pm to 11 pm. Pro tip: drinks bought before 11 pm are cheaper compared to those bought after.

Arrangements can be made for VIP seating. Be aware, though, that this bar is high-end, and can thus quickly take a toll on your wallet if you’re not careful (there is a cover charge for entry as well). 4. Latitudes

If One80 Skytop Lounge is said to be the highest rooftop bar in Orlando, Latitudes takes the title of being the largest one in the city. The tropical-themed bar makes people feel as though they’re right on the beach instead of being three floors up in the downtown area of Orlando. While there’s a cover charge to enter the bar, paying the fee also allows you to gain access to two other bars aside from Latitudes: Big Belly Brewery and Chillers. A 3-for-1 promo is offered for Happy Hour.
