Luxury from the word go

Luxury begins as soon as you reach the hotel entrance where you are greeted by a friendly security guard who phones for a golf caddy to escort you and your bags to the main reception. The main area of the hotel is a separate building. Here you will enjoy stylish and sophisticated interiors where you are guided down a long hallway to a bar illuminated in blue. This not only screams luxury but creates a very special and modern feel about the place. The long stretch also has a small gift shop, a café (closed during quiet season) and toilets accommodating those with disabilities.

Indulgent bedrooms with pillows galore

Located all around the swimming pool, three types of room are available at different costs, Standard room being the most affordable at 7000 INR (approx., 104 USD) but still incredibly luxurious. More expensive rooms are also available. A deluxe room at 9000 INR (approx. 134 USD) or if you are really splashing out, the suite room at 15,000 INR (approx. 224 USD) per night. These would be more affordable if you split the price of the room if there were two of you.

The rooms are clean and well lit and the layout is spacious. There is plenty of hangers and storage for your clothes, and ironing facilities are provided. With pillows galore, the bed is truly fit for a king (leaving the bed will be a challenge), the small elephant cushions add a real touch of Indian style. There are numerous power sockets and with wifi and a TV you will feel right at home. Impressively, different types of teas and coffees have been provided including English and Indian! You can also order room service if you require any more flavours. This room is ideal for a couple spending some quality time together who really want to enjoy relaxing at its best.

Relaxing daily activities

During the day, guests can enjoy relaxing in the spa or visit the games room for chess, pool and table tennis. For the more active guest, enjoy a swim in the pool that surrounds the island of guest bedrooms and maybe enjoy a drink at the pool bar. By the time the sun goes down, there is still plenty to enjoy. With three different restaurants and a BBQ that takes place every evening at 7pm, you will be spoilt for choice for you evening meal.

Feeling full and lethargic after dinner? Why not take a golf caddy ride through winding lanes bordered with exotic plants and flowers or get dropped off outside your room. This is a fantastic extra for those who really want to enjoy being pampered

Stylish, clean bathroom

The luxury continues to the bathroom. While the sink area is open plan to the rest of your room, the bath and toilet are behind a frosted glass wall and door. The shower head hangs above the bath, and although not a jet shower, the water remains warm. The design is simple and clean and the little extras of shampoo, soaps and a sponge make you feel incredibly welcome. A dressing gown and slippers are also provided along with fresh towels daily. A hair dryer and magnifying mirror are also provided, but it’s the back lit mirror that really adds a luxurious feel.

Delicious choice of breakfast

Breakfast is available in all three of the restaurants. Raindrops being one of them, offers a buffet breakfast at an additional cost. I would recommend the Bamboo Café where you can sit out on the balcony enjoying Indian coffee and fresh fruit at only 90 INR (approx 1.35) to start your day. Authentic cuisine is also available if you would like a more traditional breakfast or to feel more at home, opt for the continental breakfast for toast and pastries.
