The town of Polson in Montana is about as far removed from the bright lights of typical tourist destinations in USA as it is possible to get - and that’s certainly no bad thing. Polson offers a chance to spend your break in an idyllic setting, on the shore of Flathead Lake and within the reaches of the Indian Reservation which also bears the name Flathead. In the environs, you can take leisurely sightseeing trips that include the imposing Kerr Dam, along with numerous public parks such as the Sacajawea Park and Point Salish; there are also beguiling, offbeat attractions including the Glacier Brewing Company and a few museums to be enjoyed too. All in all, it’s a wonderful place to holiday for anyone who wants a little more quiet time, and if you check into one of the best Vrbo vacation rentals in Polson, you’ll find that it’s perhaps the most chilled holiday experience you could imagine.
We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status, recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and amenities. 1. Delightful log cabin overlooking the lake (from USD 208)
If you’ve come to Polson looking for a break from the crowds, then there aren’t many options that even come close to this two-person log cabin which looks out over the lake. It’s not huge, but there’s all the room you need for two people or a solo traveler, and along with a fully equipped kitchen you’ll also find a gas barbecue on the back porch. There is no TV in the cabin, which adds to the serenity, but if you need to be connected you can rest assured that the cell service is strong and there is wireless internet - you’re also about half a mile (0.8 km) from Yellow Bay State Park.
