Whenever we tried to shower the hot water heater would shut off every 2-5 minutes causing the shower to become ice cold
The two rooms down stairs are just big enough for the beds
The only real issue we had was with the hot water heater

If you rent both the upper and lower levels you have three bedrooms and baths
The air conditioning worked very well

What makes this place extremely convenient is that the owner of the accommodation lives nearby so you could seek help or enquire as and when you need. The residence is only a 15-minute walk from the town center of San Ignacio where you can engage in a lot of activities. You may also indulge in native specialties.

You can take a walk for at least twenty minutes to reach Cahal Pech, Iguana Sanctuary, and the town bars and cafes. But if you are not fond of walking, you may also ride a taxi without costing you a fortune. On the off chance that you will bring your own vehicle, worry not because the property has a free parking area. The owners are very affable and amiable and are willing to help you make arrangements during your stay whenever they can.

the resident armadillo who seems to be an elusive fella according to Peter
But the fans moved air thru the cabana and also helped block out the noise of barking dogs and crowing roosters
Our cabin was adorable and the grounds were beautiful
When we arrived mid afternoon it was very hot and we were concerned with how that might hinder our ability to sleep at night

One of the owners always seems to be home
The breeze was nice in the evening and the we really didn't need an air conditioner
There is a full kitchen although we only used the coffee pot and water kettle
you have everything you need to make a great breakfast right there in the cabin before you head out for the day
