Judith’s place is comfortable and has a central brick room view, with a very large bed, and a gorgeous well-maintained little private balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view of the river, church, and market. The room, bathroom, and kitchen are very clean and tidy. There is a balcony overlooking the bank. She also has a kitchen, should you want to eat your own food, and the whole place just gives off a very comfortable and cozy feeling, as if you were living at home. Location-wise, it is in a quiet area of old Bilbao, just opposite the Ribera market, and conveniently, there’s a good selection of nice bars and restaurants nearby.

Nacho is an amazing host and his home is located right on the edge of the Old Town, yet remains very quiet. There are a ton of great shops nearby, as well as an incredible indoor food market just across the main road. The tram (Euskotren) is just a 2-minute walk away, but don’t use the tram. Use your two feet instead to explore the town and surrounding area, particularly with the Basque coast so close by.
