It is open between May and September, welcoming guests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Providing a worry-free camping experience, it has 18 campsites located right next to Pine Lake Day Use Area. Campers will have access to a cooking area, a playground, change rooms, fire pits with firewood, food lockers, outhouses, and picnic tables. You can also easily head to the beach from here.

2. Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park

Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park is ideally situated right outside Fort Smith, surrounded by walking trails that lead to the Slave River. Open between May and September, it has a day-use area for quick stops and campsites for overnight camping. Currently, this campground features 24 campsites with electric hookups.

All amenities you need for a comfortable camping experience are available here, such as a picnic area and restrooms with showers. Moreover, child-friendly amenities, such as a playground, are available, making this the perfect stop for families. It is practical for you to stay here if you love wildlife, with many pelicans and red-sided garter snakes roaming around the area during spring and summer.
