  • Located at least 2,400 miles from the closest land (in which case, the USA), Hawaii is officially the most isolated population on Earth!
  • Hawaii actually has an official state fish, called the humuhumunukunukuapuaa! It's scientific name is the Rhinecanthus rectangulus.
