Mr. C Beverly Hills

Old world charm, European elegance and Beverly Hills chic come together gracefully in the Mr. C Hotel Beverly Hills, a brainchild of Ignazzio and Maggio Cipriani (of the legendary Cipriani family), Marcell Pozzi and the venerable Italian design firm, Tedeschi.

You can order food from anywhere in the hotel, and the 24-hour concierge service is among the most effective in LA (or so we thought). The hotel also offers a house car and driver, which is perfect for short trips in the Beverly Hills area.

Mr. C does things a bit differently than most hotels. Guests don’t check in, so much as sit down with an espresso and chat with one of the sharp-dressed and friendly staff while room keys are prepared.

The Cipriani family made their name with fine dining, and that’s in evidence at the Restaurant at Mr. C, which serves up grilled meats, exquisite pastas and pizzas good enough for even the most discerning Italians.

Rooms come in two basic color schemes: white and caramel/espresso, with sizes between 33-74sqm (most are in the 34sqm range). All have 300 thread-count Mascioni bedding, Technogel Mattresses, amenities by Gilchrist and Soames and free high-speed WiFi.

Mr. C features a guest-only pool and cabana area that gets plenty of Southern California sunlight; you can also order food from the restaurant straight to your sun lounger!

The world-class boutiques of Rodeo Drive are literally just a short walk away, and that’s exactly what we recommend: rather than driving, stretch your legs with a 15-min walk down to the heart of Beverly Hill’s shopping district, along the lovely tree-lined Beverwil. St.

When making a reservation Mr. C, request a room on the Beverly Hills side, as the rooms along Pico Boulevard can be a little noisy— and the view is not as spectacular.

Ask staff to show you the top-floor 5,000sqf event space, which features incredible wrap-around views and soaring ceilings. Only the London in West Hollywood can compete with Mr. C’s rooftop space.
