Bryan, Texas, United States, is a city located in southeast central Texas. The town borders the city of College Station, Texas, where Texas A&M University is located. Together Bryan and College Station are known as the Bryan–College Station metropolitan area. This combined area is the sixteenth largest metropolitan area in the great state of Texas. Williamson Skate Park is not just a place to visit for skaters. Apart from the two bowls, the park also features peaceful green spaces that make it an ideal spot for families to hang out. There is also a playground area tucked away just far enough so children can have fun without getting in the way of the skaters. Lights and restrooms are also available on site for convenience. A beautiful family owned winery in Texas where you will find such things as the Vintage House Restaurant, Wine Bar, and the Villa Bed & Breakfast. Messina Hof Winery & Resort is a great place to stay and play. I have always seen happy people here. They love to take a tour, help pick grapes and taste the wine. You can also stay here overnight. Many events are held here as it is very scenic and serene. Last, but not least, this beautiful winery holds the honor of being the most awarded winery in Texas.

7. Royal Oaks Alpacas

This is a ranch with Alpacas, which are animals that look like small llamas. They are so very cute to see. Kids and adults alike love to visit them and they are quite friendly. There is also a store here where you can buy such things as alpaca yarn and stuff made from alpaca fiber. A really fun farm to visit and pick up some unique souvenirs.

8. Boonville Heritage Park

Boonville Heritage Park is a historical park that gives a glimpse of the original town of Boonville, Texas, however it is located in Bryan. Here you will see a 19th-century cabin, bronze statues of key local figures, and best of all, replicas of Brazos County’s original courthouse.

9. Lake Bryan Park

This is a really nice park that people enjoy going to. The lake is used for sailing as well as jet skiing and the local folks like to have picnics here. There is a trail that has lots of pretty flowers if you would like to go for a leisurely stroll, or it is also fun to hike here. Dogs are welcome here and they love it as much as their owners do, if not more.

10. Ronin Cooking, LLC

This is a beautiful farm that people like to reserve for such things as catered dinners, weddings, bridal showers, and other special events. Not only is the décor very pretty, but all the meats as well as the poultry and produce come from Ronin Farm and other farms in the area. What is really unique here is that this place hosts a full moon seven to nine course tasting menu, outside under the stars. Dinner is served following a tour of the grounds. 11. Brazos Valley African American Museum

This is an interesting museum to visit, especially if you enjoy learning about history like I do. It is certainly a place worth checking out since it was built on the site of one of the original black schools in the Brazos Valley. Ever since it opened on July 22, 2006, the museum holds the honor of being the first establishment of its kind to promote the history of African American citizens in the Brazos Valley.

12. George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum

Founded in 2013, this is a museum that highlights the life and career of former United States President George. W. Bush. It is not located in Bryan, but is a short drive from the town. The library preserves as well as provides access to Presidential records and other donated collections. The museum and library also offers public programs as well.
