1. Croco Cun Zoo

During a 60 to 75-minute guided tour, you’ll have a chance to touch and hold different kind of animals, including crocodiles. 3. Jardín Botanico
Established in 1982 garden is one of the largest botanic gardens in Mexico. In that little piece of the conserved forest, you can find a lot of representative Yucatan plants, including a lot of kinds of cactuses, palms or medicinal plants. You can take the trail through the garden, which is about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) long and will take you through the most important parts of the garden with not only interesting plants but also a traditional Mayan house and Mayan archaeological site.

4. Cenote La Noria
Do you know that one scene in every adventure movie where the main character walks through the forest and suddenly falls down and finds himself inside some beautiful underground cave? That’s the way most of Mexican Cenotes were found. “Cenote” is a Spanish word for water pit. In the past, they were sometimes used by Mayans for sacrificial offerings.
Today they are beautiful places to swim and also a perfect spot for some good photographs. One of the most popular cenotes around Puerto Morelos is Cenote La Noria, the clear blue underground water pit, where you can jump and splash as long as you want. Just remember it’s pretty deep, 70 meters (235 feet).

5. Tanning on the beach (from USD 439)
No one has to tell you that one of the most important attractions is just relaxing on a sandy beach by the blue water. 7. Delphinus Puerto Morelos
Dolphins are some of the cutest mammals that ever existed. And you can swim with them! You can play with them, touch their incredible soft skin and just let them wonder around you and poke you with those long funny noses. But Delphinus Puerto Morelos isn’t just there to give a chance to interact with those beautiful animals, they’re also there to educate about environment and conservation of marine mammals. The park is open from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Swims with dolphins usually take around 45 minutes and prices vary depending on the size of the group and the type of swim.
