10. Tangletown

Originally established as a rustic getaway in the hills surrounding the creek, Tangletown houses historic, grand homes, early 1900s-built duplexes, and WWII-era homes. The landmark is the imposing, towering water structure of the Washburn Park Water Power. Head south of the Minnehaha Creek for all the commercial goodness of Tangletown, right from the Tangeltown Gardens to the wonderful farm-to-fork Wise Acre Eatery.
