2. Sundance Square
The Sundance Square Plaza is a place in the city to enjoy a band playing, an outdoor movie or even a yoga class. 3. Earth Fountain
The Earth Fountain consists of a 9-foot (2.7-meter) granite orb, designed by artist Philippe Klinefelter of Austin. The sculpture is a Fort Worth Public Art project and is located in a traffic triangle. The orb was carved from a single, 30-ton block of Texas Sunset Red granite. Its design was inspired by water, from the way it comes from shapes and returns to the earth. The three openings in the sculpture relate to the angles of the three streets on which it stands. The water is considered to be a scaled representation of the Trinity River and its tributaries.

4. Trinity Park
Trinity Park is located along the banks of the Trinity River, next to Fort Worth Zoo. The area features a duck pond, various water fountains throughout the park, a number of playgrounds and a miniature train. There are also hiking and biking trails throughout the park as well as picnic pavilions and restrooms. The city hosts various annual events in Trinity Park, including Mayfest. Fort Worth Botanic Garden was first established in 1934 and it is the oldest of its kind in Texas. There are 2,501 species of exotic and native plants in the 21 specialty gardens on the property. Tarrant County College is a community college located in downtown Fort Worth. This is a university where students can study in the health care professions.
