6. Ilha Anchieta State Park

The 2,050-acre (8,296,956 square meters) Ilha Anchieta State Park in the Atlantic Ocean is where you can appreciate nature and learn about history. The water is calm, making it ideal for a relaxing swim. You can also put on your snorkeling gear and spot different types of colorful fishes. Continue to the picturesque rainforest to admire the diverse flora and fauna. If you want to revisit the past, then check out the ruins of a prison dating back to 1902. 8. Projeto Tamar Ubatuba


The organization known as Project Tamar aims to save Brazil’s sea turtles from extinction, and its first base was built in Ubatuba. On your visit, head to the tanks and aquariums for an up-close look at the different turtle species, namely comb, loggerhead, green, and olive. Kids will certainly have a fun time feeding them. 9. Automobile Museum


This museum was founded in 1976 by a group of people who have one thing in common, a love for classic cars. Visit the Automobile Museum in Rua Tapajos and see its wide collection of old but well-preserved vehicles. It has over 150 cars, each of which is sure to leave you in awe. Some of the highlights include the L-29 Brougham, Lincoln-Zephyr 1937, Chevrolet Style Line Station 1950, Cadillac Presidential 1952, and McLaren M23 1974. The building also houses motorcycles, bikes, and various automobile parts.

Have a great time in Ubatuba

Summer in Ubatuba is from January to February, and it’s where the beaches are crowded and the city center experiences traffic. It’s the best time to visit if you prefer a bustling atmosphere. As for the rest of the year, the metropolis is mostly quiet with only a limited number of tourists. Keep in mind though that during the low season, some of the shops and restaurants may be closed.
