4. Tanah Lot Temple
The overwhelming beauty and serenity of Tanah Lot is mesmerising. This delicate and historic temple is located right on top of a 3-acre (1.2 hectare) rock, at a few minutes’ walk up from the coastal lip. If you have heard of the hipster bar La Favela, you would not want to miss La Laguna! This beach club cum restaurant is brought to you by the same eccentric and charming folks.
Get into your inner gypsy and enjoy the vintage decor that lines La Laguna! Pose with the gypsy caverns that look like they might have came straight out of a storybook - their efforts in making this place magical have definitely paid off.
The trick is finding this magical place and not getting lost - it is located very deep and can get confusing if you are unfamiliar with the place! Here’s our special advice: it is easier from the Berawa beach. Find it halfway between Batu Belig and Berawa Beach and walk over the big wooden bridge. All successful adventurers will tend to take a victory OOTD of them entering La Laguna, so don’t miss out on that too!
