Woolloomoo is an eastern suburb of the city of Sydney, NSW. It is situated only 1.5 km (0.93 miles) from the city’s central business district. The suburb is a low-lying area near the Woolloomoo Bay of the Sydney Harbor. Initially, the locality was dominated by working-class residents. But all that has recently changed with some key development projects undertaken here. Thus, there have been some major changes in the public housing sector now. The trams here form a major transport vehicle and was developed in phases. The suburb is popular for its Finger Wharf, known for its unusual size. It was in the nineties when a boutique hotel and several hundred of residential apartments were developed that the wharf came to be renovated.
