A house with a lot of history, this huge farm is now a public park with many different recreational opportunities for all ages and especially for the kids. The farm is a great place to visit to learn about the history of the area and to see all the artifacts in a landscape that has persisted for so long.
For the little ones, the farm also often hosts multiple events and programs, all for a low price, for kids to learn about farm life and have some fun petting the sheep, or making seasonal crafts, including churning butter! 4. Cool down at the Bensenville Water Park
It’s a small waterpark but it does the job of cooling you off in the summer heat and it is a great place to take the kids. There are various play areas, some with water, and some without, a huge water slide with a deep plunge pool at the end for the thrills, a large pool with a very shallow end for the younger ones, and even more. And, if you’re feeling like sunbathing a bit, there are multiple grassy areas and lounge chairs where you can lie down, read a book, and watch the kids, for the most relaxing afternoon.

5. Visit White Pines Golf Course for fun golf adventures and beautiful photo ops

This park is a beautiful spot of nature in the midst of the city. It’s a great place to take a jog on the running trail and, of course, a perfect location to host casual parties and family gatherings. It has the classics of any park - a play space, picnic tables, and large sprawling areas of grass - perfect for whatever you want to do in the area!
