This little-known shrine was the place where the mutiny of 1857 took birth. While the exact date when the temple was built is not known, it is believed to have existed since medieval times. While the reigning deity is the Hindu God Shiva, there is also a newer temple dedicated to the Hindu deity, Krishna. You may also get the opportunity to see religious ceremonies in progress at the hexagonal hall within the temple complex.
