The park is spacious, has a huge area and is child-friendly, making it a fabulous place for some quality family time. Children and adults alike will enjoy the carousels, big Ferris Wheel, roller coaster ride, haunted house, water slides, bumper cars, and other attractions in the fun park. There are loads of activities for kids and they will love being here. The Swinging Tree Ride is quite popular with the little ones as are most of the other rides! The view of the city from the 213 feet- (65 m) high Ferris Wheel, also the park’s tallest attraction, is breathtaking. You can also plan for a nice picnic in a quiet spot in the park.

Nice restaurants, kiosks, pop-up booths, bars, and eateries selling delicious food make this park more interesting and entertaining.

Restaurant Funicular

The restaurant is cozy with helpful staff. Enjoy Georgian lunch here or sip a cup of coffee. The meals are fresh, hot and delicious at affordable prices. Check out the cream puffs, the ‘Ponchiki’ ,‘Khinkali’, ‘Khachapuri’, Lagidze lemonade, and the desserts that are very tasty.

Cafe Orangery

This is a lovely place to have a hearty lunch or dinner. Huge portions of yummy food are served at reasonable prices. Traditional Georgian dishes, chicken, and creamy garlic sauce are their specialties.

Ice cream shops

Enjoy ice creams in different flavors at the famous shops set within the picturesque environs of this beautiful amusement park.

Season to visit

Christmas is a great time to enjoy the special festive lights. Evenings are in general nice and glowing.

Days to visit

Weekdays are good and it is less crowded.

Accessibility

The park is suitable for people who do not mind walking. The main stairs make it difficult to navigate wheelchairs and strollers. Hammocks are available for kids who wish to rest a while.

Entrance fee

While the entrance is free, you can purchase a card at the entrance and use it to pay for the rides by charging it at the counter. The choice of going for a ride is entirely yours and you can make a decision based on your comfort level.

Ride timing

Some rides are closed in cold weather and many rides operate only when they have a minimum number. Sometimes the rides are not functional due to technical problems or non-availability of staff.

Special events

Nighttime club activities are available only during special occasions.

Restroom facility

You will have to pay to use the restroom. There is an information center and a cash desk available should you need assistance.

This lovely park is set less than 3 mi (4 km) from old city Freedom Square.

Bus

Bus N 124 from Rustaveli Road and Bus N 90 from Orbeliani Square takes about 20 minutes to take you close to the park. Alight and walk for about five minutes to the park.

Taxi

Taxis are also available and they take you through zigzag and circular paths. The trip will take about 15 minutes from the heart of Tbilisi.

Scooter

You can even rent a scooter and ride to this scenic location. There is a parking area available.

Funicular

The best and the shortest way to get to Mtatsminda Park from Tbilisi is to hop on the funicular for an enjoyable ride.
