This calming and cozy bedroom is in the hosts’ house, with easy access to the mountains. The bedroom includes plenty of storage space and access to an adjoining terrace from which you can enjoy the mountain vistas. This whole property is very large, with high wooden beamed ceilings and excellent furnishings. It feels exactly like a relaxing cabin and is near many tourist sites such as Lake Serre-Ponçon, an educational farm, and it is just 15 minutes from the station Réallon. Found in a small village, this vacation rental is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. Built on wooden stilts, this is a once in a lifetime type property and we love it. There is a swing, a toboggan, and a petanque court. This property is surrounded by nature and you’ll love watching the buzzards, eagles, and deer. The host kindly offers a welcome drink and there is a possibility of breakfast being delivered.

This recently refurbished property can comfortably host up to up to four guests sharing one double bedroom and a sofa-bed which is suitable for two children. The property enjoys great partial views of the lake, and Reallon Station is just 15 minutes away. The decoration style of the property is bright and welcoming. There is full WiFi throughout and free parking is also available. In the summer months, be sure to use the barbecue facilities! The property enjoys a cabin feel with waxed wooden flooring and walls. Our favorite feature is the dining area which wraps around a supporting pillar. The excellent design and use of space makes this property very popular.

Our favorite thing about this property is the outdoor patio area which is equipped with tables and chairs. 9. Wooden chalet
This recently built chalet is south-facing in a farm hamlet, so there is plenty of natural light. It is a fantastic mountain property with views of the lake and is just 10 minutes to the skiing resort. This adorable wooden chalet has modern appliances and is decorated to a very high standard. The main double bedroom also has a washbasin and direct access to the garden, whilst the second room has two bunk beds and a dressing table. There are additional pull-out beds in the mezzanine area. In total, up to six guests can stay in this small but cozy property.

10. Unique house
Located between the lake of Seree-Ponçon and the mountains you’re guaranteed outstanding views that can’t be beaten. If you’re interested in skiing and watersports then this is a great base. The property is unique in that it has been made entirely from local materials. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything that you need to create a good meal. There is a separate dining room which is both bright and spacious. The highlight of this property is the large deck which is built on stilts and allows you to enjoy the panoramic view.
