You can reach Arambol within an hour by car from Goa’s Dabolim Airport. It is a small, traditional and beautiful fisherman’s village in Northern Goa’s Pernem administrative region. Arambol’s pristine beach draws tourists from all over India as well as from abroad. The inflow of international visitors is mainly during the winters, between the months of November and March every year, when the weather outside is cool and pleasant. Many people refer to Arambol as Harmal and it is one of the most developed resorts in Goa. Budget-minded and long-staying tourists simply love this beach in the North. It was in the 1960s when the emergence of Arambol took place. Since then it has been a paradise for the visitors who want to escape the crowd at Calangute. Even today, things here are reasonably priced and cheerful. If you are looking out for a budget beach holiday, then this is just the place for you. Check out our list for the best things to do in Arambol!

People who visit Goa are familiar with the attractions of this lake. Paliem Lake is a fresh water (sweet) lake. It is also famous for its “cleansing sulfurous mud,” which is found near the lake. However, contrary to a few decades back when undressed hippies covered with this yellow mud was a common sight, today’s visitors need to pay for such an experience or get a hold of whatever they can from the small stream’s banks in the neighboring woods.
