1. Visit Cathedrale St Nicholas - a sacred place of worship

Cathedrale St Nicholas is a sacred place of worship for the Roman Catholics. A Cathedral is bigger and more established compared to a church. Named after St Nicholas, the Catholics in Fribourg love this Gothic-style architecture church. It was completed way back in the year 1430 and took almost 150 years to complete the construction. Apparently it is very intricate inside, as common in all Catholic churches, with figurines of Mother Mary and her son Jesus. You can try Furnicular Fribourg, the tramsway in Switzerland. The funicular was started in 1899 due to the initiative of Paul-Alcide Blancpain, and its construction was begun.
