1. Ride the Star of Nanchang

You can never go wrong with a Ferris wheel that’s 160 meters (525 feet) high. The Star of Nanchang was the world’s tallest Ferris wheel prior to the construction of the Singapore Flyer which is 165 meters (541 feet) tall. The wheel can let up to 480 people in its 60 enclosed cabins. All cabins are airconditioned, and a rotation takes about 30 minutes to be completed. This Ferris wheel gives you a bird’s eye view of the entire city from both sides, add to this the scenic view of the magnificent sunset alongside the superlative bridges. It’s a wonder to behold.

It’s the second-largest square in China after Tiananmen Square in Beijing. It has a surface area of 78,000 square meters (839,585 square feet). The construction project started on August 1, 1977 and ended on January 8, 1979. The site was built in commemoration of the Nanchang Uprising. It’s commonly used for large scale marches and ceremonies due to its large space. Nanchang residents use the square for outdoor activities, especially during summer. The square also has a music fountain that enhances the ambiance of the premise.
