Take a leisurely walk after a heavy lunch at Les Bisses de Nendaz. The entire area of Haute-Nendaz is superb. The panoramas were mesmerising and awesome. The little village had everything - a restaurant, grocery stores and a street market. The serene Bisse Milieu walk was refreshing and rejuvenating. Tourists can take a long leisurely walk and end with a deserving lunch in an obscure place called Planchoute. What was to be a 4 hour walk, turned into at least 5 hours of pleasure. Stay here and enjoy the peacefulness of the ambience. Be close to Mother Nature at its best with natural walking trails and soft green grass during the summer. Admire God’s natural creations and be humbled by the vastness of the surroundings, filled with greenery and trees for a relaxing trip. It is good for the soul and helps recharge an otherwise lethargic spirit, due to the 9:00am to 6:00pm work days back home.

4. Embrace Lac Du Grand Désert, Nendaz

Tourists can also choose the place less travelled, like Lac Du Grand Désert, Nendaz. This place is not so well known, so it is a great option to avoid the hoards of people. You may find black sands covering the hill slopes and mountains with not a single tree in sight. You will just love basking in the sights of emptiness, with vast horizons and perhaps catch the sunset with a repertoire of colors in the skies. This is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of city life and the concrete jungle. Here, this is no WiFi or any radio signals, just the vastness of the desert. Unlike the notorious Sahara Desert in Africa, here in Lac Du Grand Désert, Nendaz, it is cool like an air-conditioned room. You don’t have to perspire at all. All you have to do, is just do nothing; absorb in the sights and surroundings and be reminded that there is a greater Creator in the Heavens. On another note, Lac du Grand Désert is a glacial lake in Valais, Switzerland. It is located at an elevation of 2,500 meters (8,202 feet) above sea level.
