Bliss Hotel is first and foremost located in one of Singapore’s most culturally historic site, Chinatown, with large parts of the area declared as heritage sites. This includes the iconic Hindu temple named Sri Mariamman Temple located on South Bridge Road. The area is also filled with shop houses of various designs and colours with old Chinese elements. An outdoor food street is located on Smith Street selling locals delights such as Satay; which is basically grilled meat on a stick, Sambal Stingray; stringray grilled on banana leaves topped with spicy sambal chilli and many other local delicacies. Chinatown MRT is located directly opposite of the hotel and connects you to Singapore’s iconic places like the must-see Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and Orchard Road for some luxury shopping. Bliss Hotel is also within walking distance from Singapore’s nightlife hot spots that include Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. The spacious single room
The Single Room is the smallest and most compact room in Bliss Hotel at 10sqm. The room has been cleverly designed with the bed and work desk on one side of the room and the shower and toilet area on the other side making room for more walking space. Some rooms have no windows, therefore, it is good to check if the room you are booking provides a view. This is to ensure guests can get a good rest, cancelling the sights and sounds of the city.
Suitable for families
Bliss Hotel is one of the few hotels in the area to have rooms that cater for families. The Family Quad room can fit up to four adults or two adults and two children. The family room is actually made up of two large rooms combined to be 26sqm. As soon as you enter, you will see two single beds and as you walk further in, you will see another queen sized bed located in the other room. The two rooms are separated by a door, therefore, it is also ideal for friends travelling as a group.
The standard room for all
There are choices for either twin beds or double beds at Bliss Hotel. The Deluxe and Superior rooms are suitable for two adults travelling together. The Deluxe rooms are relatively larger than the Superior rooms at 19sqm and 16sqm respectively. Any children below the age of 12 years old are allowed to share the existing bed in the room at no extra cost.
Take a breather at the garden terrace
Guests can take in some fresh air or even witness the hustle and bustle of the city from this open air Garden Terrace located on the second floor of the hotel. There are plenty of rattan chairs suited for the outdoors for guests to chill and hang out. The best thing is that guests have 24-hour access to this terrace, making it even better for those who would like to enjoy the cooling night breeze.
Hotel’s reliable services
The rooms are inclusive of a mini fridge, a variety of coffee and tea and complimentary bottled water. Guests are able to make local calls at no additional cost. Besides enjoying complimentary Wi-Fi all around, guests can also watch cable channels on a 32in television from the comfort of their beds.
