By flight: Berjaya Air operates direct flights to Redang Island from Subang SkyPark. However, it seems you can only book the service online as a package deal with a room at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort. If you’re flying as a group, it might be best to charter the aircraft.
By ferry: Merang and Shahbandar Jetties are the two major transit points that operate ferries to Redang Island. Shahbandar Jetty is situated right within Kuala Terengganu and offers regular ferries to and from Redang Island. Merang Jetty also offers a regular ferry service but is located further north of Kuala Terengganu.
