This is a nice and quiet restaurant, not too crowdy but with an attractive appearance and a very pleasant atmosphere. The menu is small but very creative with enough variety to appeal to most palettes. They have traditional Argentinian cuisine and find a way to make it very modern. You can combine their traditional food with modern dishes. A glass of wine will make your meal complete. Service is also excellent and prices are affordable.

The portions are quite generous, the service is very good, the location convenient and the ambiance quite nice. The pizza and pasta are a must try when you come to Trattoria Mamma Mia. The place only starts to receive a lot of guest after 10.00pm. The wine menu also has a lot of choices which serve a broad spectrum of budgets. Almost all of the wines, including the less expensive ones, are good.

This is a French-themed intimate restaurant where you can enjoy a good meal. The place is quite small, so you won’t have to wait a long time for your meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. This is a well located, close to the main plaza restaurant. They serve steaks and the portions are huge and delicious. The wine list is large enough, with only a few economic ones. However there are good local options at reasonable prices, and Salta wines are great. The traditional “Bife de Chorizo” is as always a good choice and salads are abundant. It’s a bit pricy in comparison to other places in Salta but no complaints regarding food, service, or atmosphere.
