The Ansan Cultural Center, also known as the “Folk History Museum,” has held numerous cultural campaigns to continue and develop Ansan’s traditional folk culture. The center hosts a number of culture & arts events including Jaetmeori Seonghwang Festival, Seongho Cultural Festival, and the Byeolmangseong Mountain God ritual. It also features facilities such as the folk materials center, the Ansan Cultural School, and the Folk History Research Institute, and cultural sites of Ansan, like the traditional cottages and millstone, all of which are enjoyed by the public.

As Ansan is famous for its snacks, try to experience these in Ansan Charlie, a famous eating spot. Ansan Charlie is located on the 2nd level of Star Tower. With super cheap prices for bottles, sake, and beers, and even cheaper prices of food, this is a great spot for a birthday celebration or just to hang out when you’re craving something other than the typical Malay stuff. The menu is huge and everything is delicious. They highly recommend the Cheese Chicken Potato or the potato jeon.
