Vastrapur Lake is located in the western part of Ahmedabad alongside Vastrapur Amphitheatre and Adventure Park. It was named after Narsinh Mehta, a 15th-century poet-saint of Gujarat, India. Or alternatively, pop by Iscon Gathiya to pack some gathiya (crunchy fried snack), jalebi (sweet snack soaked in sugar syrup) and tea to enjoy by the lake. Jassi De Parathe, a North Indian restaurant located 300 m (0.19 mi) away from the lake and serves delicious dishes if you’re in the mood for some Punjabi fare. Opposite Jassi De Parathe restaurant is Anjoy Foods where you can easily gorge on mouth-watering biryani (mixed rice dish), fried rolls and wraps. You can take bus numbers 56 or 900 and alight at Nehru Park or Himanshu Vidyalaya bus stop. You will be steps away from the lake.

By private car
