3. Cave Beach Camping Ground
Nestled among coastal tea trees, Cave Beach is perfect for lightweight camping. It is an ideal surfing area as it is within walking distance of Bherwerre Beach and Sussex Inlet. Its main campground is situated 0.3 km (0.2 mi) away from the parking area. As a camper here, you can have access to all of its amenities, including the public toilets, shower areas, and a sheltered barbecue area. Bristol Point is beautifully surrounded by mature bushland and is a few minutes away from a couple of local beaches, featuring walk-in campsites. The campground proper is only 50 m (164. ft) away from the parking area. During the peak season between October and May, campsites are typically booked for the weekends at least a month in advance. Amenities you can use include barbecue facilities, hot and cold showers, public toilets, wood fireplaces, and fresh water.
