This lovely park is set less than 3 mi (4 km) from old city Freedom Square.
Bus
Bus N 124 from Rustaveli Road and Bus N 90 from Orbeliani Square takes about 20 minutes to take you close to the park. Alight and walk for about five minutes to the park.
Taxi
Taxis are also available and they take you through zigzag and circular paths. The trip will take about 15 minutes from the heart of Tbilisi.
Scooter
You can even rent a scooter and ride to this scenic location. There is a parking area available.
Funicular
The best and the shortest way to get to Mtatsminda Park from Tbilisi is to hop on the funicular for an enjoyable ride.
How to get tickets
You can buy a plastic Mtatsminda Park Card at the cash desk that can be used for all the rides and the funicular ride too.
