Just in time for the holidays, bask in Elgin’s festival to end all festivals. A parade, gospel singing, a carnival with rides and games for the children and catfish, catfish, catfish! The Catfish Stomp is held annually the first Saturday of every December.
Mouth watering catfish stew specially prepared by the Blaney Fire Department and local volunteer firemen takes center stage at the Elgin Catfish Stomp, alongside fried catfish with “all the fixin’s". What better way to end your journey through Elgin!
