The New England region comprises six states of the northeastern United States, and it is famous for its pretty landscapes, abundant historical landmarks, vibrant culture, and beautiful places to visit. The six states are Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Rhode Island. Most of these states are particularly famed for their stunning fall foliage and adventurous campsites, and I’d love to go backpacking across the states. With its long coastline, New England also provides numerous gorgeous beaches that are known for their pristine beauty, with Cape Cod in Massachusetts being the most popular. History buffs will enjoy the vast array of historical monuments such as Boston’s Freedom Trail and the recreated village, Plimoth Patuxet Museums, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Spending a weekend getaway at a wonderful resort amid the beautiful landscapes of New England is sure to guarantee a rejuvenating break. Upcoming events in Boston

As New England’s largest city, and perhaps its most well-known, Boston plays host to numerous popular attractions, festivals, and events. Here are a few of the most popular events in the city that you should definitely check out:

  • Boston Marathon: The world’s oldest annual marathon is held in April in Boston. Boston Marathon is one of the World Marathon Majors, solidifying its fame for decades, or even centuries, to come. Tracing its history back to 1897, the marathon is the most widely viewed sporting event in New England, and maybe you can take part in it on your vacation here.

  • Head of the Charles Regatta: Hailed as the world’s largest three-day regatta, Head of the Charles Regatta began in 1965 and is slated to have almost 11,000 rowers participating in 2024. It is held in October, and there are many viewpoints along the Charles River where tourists and locals can watch the thrilling action.

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and all-inclusive packages and activities. The image galleries get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on April 11, 2024.

Unsure about package inclusions?

All-inclusive packages promise the epitome of convenience, but sometimes guests get less than what they bargained for, running the risk of derailing the entire vacation. Therefore, it’s always necessary to do your due research on all-inclusive packages. Go beyond the package tag and ascertain for yourself whether the all-inclusive package has everything you need and more.
